Privacy Policy

M.O.M. collects three categories of personal data, each tied to a specific interaction:

• Donations via Stripe.When you give through our donation page, Stripe processes the transaction and shares with us the name on the card, billing address, email, donation amount, and the timestamp of the gift. Card numbers and CVVs are captured directly by Stripe and never pass through or are stored on M.O.M.'s servers.
• Contact form.If you reach out through the site's contact form, we receive the name, email, and message body you submit, plus the time the message arrived.
• Impact-story submissions. Partners and clinicians who send us a bedside story share a partner name, email, hospital or clinic, program type (NICU, ICU, oncology, pediatric / general), a written summary of the impact, and an explicit consent flag indicating whether we may share their story publicly.

• To process donations — issue receipts, acknowledge your gift, and produce the records we need for tax reporting and annual filings.
• To respond to inquiries you send us through the contact form.
• To share submitted impact storieson M.O.M.'s public impact pages and program materials — only with the explicit consent captured at submission, and anonymized by default if that is what the story's author prefers.

Donation payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Stripe captures card data directly in their own environment; M.O.M. receives only the billing and receipt fields listed above. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

We do not retain personal data beyond what is needed for tax records and donor recognition. Contact-form and impact-story entries are kept only as long as is needed to respond and (for stories) to feature them publicly. Donor records that support tax filings are retained for the period required by applicable law.

Unless you opt out, your name may appear in donor recognition lists, our annual report, or thank-you messages associated with a campaign. To opt out of public recognition at any time, email info@momoutreach.org and we will remove your name from future listings. Opt-out does not affect the tax records we are required to keep.
